Yah-Visitors
My parents came to visit us last week, YES i said PARENTS... My mom AND dad came for a quick little visit, I guess if you whine enough, someone will come and see us. We had a blast with them here. We went to a Pirates baseball game, picnic at Twin Lakes, Rode the Gateway Clipper, shopped, golfed, and so much more. We enjoyed their visit so much, they came just at the right time, i feel like it totally gave me a recharge to finish these last 5 months. (not to mention Wes and Larcy will be here in 2 months as well) but seriously i feel like i can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Its a scary thought not knowing where we will be going next, but I'm looking forward to the next journey for us. I'm so proud of Darin and all his hard work.

Well i just wanted to say that Devin (my br0 -in- law) has an old mission companion whose wife has cancer, she is terminal, she has two small children. She first had cancer when she was 19 and then was in remission and since then it has returned. I feel so sorry for this family, she has no idea what day will be her last. Her attitude is so positive. I have never met this girl, but i saw her blog and it truly has impacted my life. I read in her blog that she was talking about the cancer with her dad and she told him it was terminal, and her dads comment was, "Sarah, aren't we all terminal?" I just want everyone to know how much I love you and am so thankful for being a part of my life. I always say its not what you have in life its who you have in life. I challenge all of you to put yourself in Sarah's shoes and be grateful for all the blessings you have in life. I love my family, I love my friends, I love my Heavenly father, and I love my life. I am so blessed. Sara's blog is hopeforsarah.blogspot.com
My Sweetest Blessings!

Look WHOOS 1.
Ooh my gosh. I thought b-days were supposed to be fun...For Harper yes, but for me i cannot believe my baby is already one. This year went by so fast. I have to laugh because it was not more then 3 weeks ago that this little munchkin started to crawl, yes crawl..not walk. CRAWL. She absolutely HATES her tummy, so i knew it would take awhile, but not that long. Harp is an absolute joy to have at our house. She has the cutest little smile and such a sweet, but sassy personality already. I made her owl cupcakes and then made her a chocolate cake to dig into and i said she can't just have a plain old cake for her very first b-day, so at the last minute, i made it an owl also. She wasn't sure about all this b-day stuff, but all in all it was a good day. I feel so blessed to have this little family i have. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Happy Birthday Colt-boy!
We're a little slow, but Colter celebrated his 5th Birthday on March 22. Ooh, he was so excited. I think we were on the b-day count down for half the year. He wanted a dragon cake, so... that's what he got. He had preschool that day so he took cupcakes (which he thought was sooo cool) his teacher, Mrs. Smith told me that Colt told everyone that his mom spent alot of time on these cupcakes and they were very special! He is such a sweet boy. He told me the other day that he was going to buy me a "princess"cup to drink out of, so I asked him if he thought i was a princess, and he says,"yah, but mostly just adorable!''I don't know where this boy comes up with some of this stuff, but he is a hoot. This age is so cute and fun. He is such a joy to our lives. Rue-I don't know what i would do with out ya. Love ya Happy Birthday!

I'm a little slow, but between two hospital visits for Harper, school for Colter, Darin gone to Ohio for 6 weeks, enrichment, and regular house work, the blog has become last resort. So here is a few pics from Christmas in Utah. We had so much fun. We spent tons of time with our family. My Gram Joker fell and broke her hip while we were there, so we spent a lot of time in the hospital, but we did get to have fun holiday parties and play with our familias.

A simple dog treat...
We have this UPS guy that is so sweet, all summer long when we are playing out side we would have demps out with us and he'd stop and pet him and give him a bone. If we weren't here, he would leave our package on the door step with a dog bone on top of it, or he would just simply drive by and throw a treat our way. I haven't seen him in along time, so I figured he'd gotten another route.
Today Colt and I were out shoveling and the UPS man stopped a few houses in front of ours and then as he passed us it was our same sweet one from the summer. He stopped and handed me a doggy bone...I said with tears in my eyes "um...we no longer have him." he asked what happened and I told him we lost him, and he said, "ooh, i am so sorry, i will miss that guy!" (It's amazing what a little dog treat can do to someone.) I just wanted Demps to know how much we love and miss him. There is NOT one day that goes by that I don't think about him and think what a GREAT dog we had. I know its silly to mourn your pet so much, but this guy was such a big part of my life. He was my 1st baby!
I love and miss you Demps
Love, your mom.
