Ooh Boy!!! WELCOME TO THE BIG 30...

So I've been DREADING this day for quite some time now, and trust me it sneaks up on you fast, but Yes, it happened, I'm officially never going to be in my 20's again. (ready or not here it comes!) and...it wasn't that bad, i guess with everything that has happened to me in the last few months ( a baby, 15 kidney stones) a calm uneventful day was GREAT!!! We spent the weekend in Gettysburg and on the big day we headed home, so we spent most of the day driving. We got home got Demps from the kennel and headed to Pittsburgh to have pizza and B-day cake and say hausta la vista to my sis and her clan, so all in all the day was good. These would be the only pics i have of my 30th b-day, so enjoy... sometimes happy meals in the car can be fun for the whole family!!! Ha ha.

My sister and her family came out and spent a couple of weeks with us. It was so fun to have them! We did a ton of fun things we hit the zoo, Idlewild, Pirates baseball game, keystone park and we finished the weekend in Gettysburg. It was crazy fitting all of us in our little town home, but we made it work and it was awesome to see everyone!

We took the kids to the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh. Colter had so much fun. He got to play in a smart car, float sharks and boats in the water, play in Mr. Rogers neighborhood, and his most favorite part was getting to "make" lunch for everyone with the play food. The first thing he made was a great big hot dog between two tiny pieces of bread, it was hilarious! I hope this isn't his calling in life, he enjoyed it too much! Ha ha.

We Blessed Harper yesterday and here are some pics. Her dress was beautiful! Thanks Mom. Everyone loved it and thought she was beautiful! Thanks to g-ma and g-pa Bloomfield for coming and spending some time with us and helping out so much. We love ya.

We went and had her pictures taken yesterday at a girl in our wards house, she will have the disk ready in a few days and then I'll post some of those. Hopefully they turn out cute, she was a little mad when we undressed her for her pics, but after she peed and puked on me it tuckered her right out and i think there will be some cute ones. I was holding the baby and i called her a peanut and Colter goes peanut??? and he looks at me and says, "no mom, lets call her chocolate!" It was cute! So far he is really soft and cute with her. I think Bama Pam has got the brunt of his attitude this time, but we really are glad that she came to help us these past 2 weeks. We are thankful to have her here and we'll miss her when she goes home.

She's Here!!!
We are so excited to welcome baby Harper to our family! She was born on Friday April 23, 2010 at 2:47 p.m. She was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 inches long. We had to stay two days in the hospital because she made her appearance at 36 weeks and 6 days, not quite 37 weeks, so she was considered a preemie. I have to laugh at an almost 8 pound preemie. She is BEAUTIFUL! I am so happy to have a new little one. There is no better gift in this world then getting to be a mom. Here are a few pics and surely more to come. Colt is adjusting good so far. The first time he saw her he says, "mom, she has a little mouth and tongue, can I hold her? Mom, I love my sister!" He is going to be the BEST big brother.
