We're a little slow, but Colter celebrated his 5th Birthday on March 22. Ooh, he was so excited. I think we were on the b-day count down for half the year. He wanted a dragon cake, so... that's what he got. He had preschool that day so he took cupcakes (which he thought was sooo cool) his teacher, Mrs. Smith told me that Colt told everyone that his mom spent alot of time on these cupcakes and they were very special! He is such a sweet boy. He told me the other day that he was going to buy me a "princess"cup to drink out of, so I asked him if he thought i was a princess, and he says,"yah, but mostly just adorable!''I don't know where this boy comes up with some of this stuff, but he is a hoot. This age is so cute and fun. He is such a joy to our lives. Rue-I don't know what i would do with out ya. Love ya Happy Birthday!

I'm a little slow, but between two hospital visits for Harper, school for Colter, Darin gone to Ohio for 6 weeks, enrichment, and regular house work, the blog has become last resort. So here is a few pics from Christmas in Utah. We had so much fun. We spent tons of time with our family. My Gram Joker fell and broke her hip while we were there, so we spent a lot of time in the hospital, but we did get to have fun holiday parties and play with our familias.

A simple dog treat...
We have this UPS guy that is so sweet, all summer long when we are playing out side we would have demps out with us and he'd stop and pet him and give him a bone. If we weren't here, he would leave our package on the door step with a dog bone on top of it, or he would just simply drive by and throw a treat our way. I haven't seen him in along time, so I figured he'd gotten another route.
Today Colt and I were out shoveling and the UPS man stopped a few houses in front of ours and then as he passed us it was our same sweet one from the summer. He stopped and handed me a doggy bone...I said with tears in my eyes "um...we no longer have him." he asked what happened and I told him we lost him, and he said, "ooh, i am so sorry, i will miss that guy!" (It's amazing what a little dog treat can do to someone.) I just wanted Demps to know how much we love and miss him. There is NOT one day that goes by that I don't think about him and think what a GREAT dog we had. I know its silly to mourn your pet so much, but this guy was such a big part of my life. He was my 1st baby!
I love and miss you Demps
Love, your mom.
