Just a few pictures of Harper. It is so amazing how fast they grow. The other day I was saying "ooh, I wish I had two hands to get something done" and I stopped right in my tracks and said...."no I don't". These days are not going to last forever, so yes it may be nice to have my hands back, but I would not trade these days for anything, so for right now I am just going to sit back and treasure every moment with these two munchkins! I truly would do anything in the world for my family, I feel SO SO blessed to be a mom to these guys.

Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween Holiday this year. We had a primary activity, Colt had a party at school, we had a fun neighbor party and trick or treating on Halloween night. We played lots of fun games, I made these fun spiders for the kids party along with chili and home made rootbeer. Colt was a Dragon-dino... and Harp was a fairy. I tell you what there were a lot of cute butterflies, lady bugs and fairy's, but this little woman was high on the list of being one of the cutest! Thanks mom for making Colts costume so cute and warm and especially minusing the camel-... Ha ha.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

SURPRISE!!!

Okay, I knew for 3 whole months and keeping my mouth shut was soo HARD! Lesley, Justin and the kids decided that they would make the trek to lovely Pennsylvania to surprise Darin. It was GREAT. I told Darin that I had a relief Society meeting in Cranberry (which is 1 hour away) and that he needed to watch the kids while I was gone, Little did he know i was on my way to the airport to pick these guys up. Dare's face was priceless, when they walked in. He had NO idea, I guess we are all great fibber's and liars. Ha ha. We had a ton of fun while they were here, we went to Schramm Farm, carved pumpkins, went to Mammoth Park to the big slide, The Children's Museum, Johnny Carinos, swimming, good old Applebees and we rode the the Gate Way Clipper. It was so fun to see these guys, it made us miss home so much. We love you guys, thanks for all the fun and coming all this way to see our ugly muggs!

Starting Pre-K

Colt started Pre-School at the Penn Trafford High School. He absolutely LOVES it. The first thing he says when I ask him what they did that day is always what hey had for a snack! I think its the highlight of his day. Ha ha. He gets homework once a week and you would think it was the best thing that has ever happened to him. (someday that will change). He has done really well and he absolutely loves school. We are proud of you Colt-Boy, keep up the good work.

Mans BEST friend...No definitely Women's BEST friend!
We had to say good bye to our sweet puppy dog yesterday. What a good friend. Darin and I had Demps for 7 years and there is not one place that we have been that he didn't come with us. Some of the things we will remember most about him is riding the 4-wheeler with him in a tote on the front, Mr. Rags, his jowls shaking as he snored, surviving being hit by a truck, being so sweet with my kids, hogging the bed, protecting me when Darin and I wrestle & his kisses. He was treated just like one of us. To me he wasn't just a dog. He was one of my kids and I will never forget this sweet boy! He truly was one of my Best friends and I hope everyone who has a puppy today gives them a special little love because they are only here a short little time. Till we meet again Demps! Love ya and miss ya.

LATE NIGHT ADDICTION!!!
So anyways I saw a few of these darling hair bows on the Internet and I thought well, goll i bet i could make some. So here you have it. I can't quit making them, they are so fun! I put everyone to bed and I make hair bows like crazy! I thought they would be so cute in your hair with a messy bun or on a head band or even pining them to your sweater or necklace. I guess I'll need one in every color!!!

I do not know how, but we had a few extra minutes before church today, so we took a few pics with us all dressed up and I thought they turned out kinda cute. I was sitting here feeding Harper this morning and Colter walked in and says "I love you mom" and walks out. I sat there just thinking how lucky i am to have these little kids in my life. They truly are WONDERFUL!!! I feel so blessed to stay home with these two and to watch them grow everyday.
I am so lucky to be a mom.

Ooh Boy!!! WELCOME TO THE BIG 30...
So I've been DREADING this day for quite some time now, and trust me it sneaks up on you fast, but Yes, it happened, I'm officially never going to be in my 20's again. (ready or not here it comes!) and...it wasn't that bad, i guess with everything that has happened to me in the last few months ( a baby, 15 kidney stones) a calm uneventful day was GREAT!!! We spent the weekend in Gettysburg and on the big day we headed home, so we spent most of the day driving. We got home got Demps from the kennel and headed to Pittsburgh to have pizza and B-day cake and say hausta la vista to my sis and her clan, so all in all the day was good. These would be the only pics i have of my 30th b-day, so enjoy... sometimes happy meals in the car can be fun for the whole family!!! Ha ha.

My sister and her family came out and spent a couple of weeks with us. It was so fun to have them! We did a ton of fun things we hit the zoo, Idlewild, Pirates baseball game, keystone park and we finished the weekend in Gettysburg. It was crazy fitting all of us in our little town home, but we made it work and it was awesome to see everyone!

We took the kids to the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh. Colter had so much fun. He got to play in a smart car, float sharks and boats in the water, play in Mr. Rogers neighborhood, and his most favorite part was getting to "make" lunch for everyone with the play food. The first thing he made was a great big hot dog between two tiny pieces of bread, it was hilarious! I hope this isn't his calling in life, he enjoyed it too much! Ha ha.
